Partner and Head of Family Law, Rugby
I joined Brethertons in 2016 as a legal assistant in the award winning Property Management department. I began my training contract with Brethertons in 2017 and I am now a Solicitor in the Wills, Trusts and Probate team.
My work covers most areas of practice including will drafting, lasting powers of attorney and estate administration. I am also heavily involved with Court of Protection matters, supporting those whose loved ones have lost the capacity to manage their affairs. I assist with the process of applying for a Deputyship order and I also work closely with professional Deputies who are appointed to act independently in managing a person’s property and financial affairs.
I previously spent over a year working with our Serious Injuries team and therefore I have a unique understanding of the circumstances and concerns of those who have suffered a life changing injury.
I gained my honours degree in Law from the University of Leicester in 2016 before achieving a distinction in my Masters degree from the University of Law in 2017. I qualified as a lawyer in the Wills, Trusts and Probate team in October 2019.
Outside of work I like to keep busy, whether that’s playing netball, experimenting with cooking, or visiting stately homes.
