How we work with recruitment agencies

We do not accept unsolicited CV’s, if you would like to put forward a candidate for a specific vacancy please contact Hannah (for roles in our Dispute Resolution, Employment, Property Management, Residential Leasehold, Conveyancing, Commercial, Commercial Property, Finance and Risk or CRM and Marketing teams), or Toni (for roles in our WTP, Family, Serious Injuries, IT, Management Information, and Legal Support teams – including Legal Assistant, and Legal Secretarial roles) before you submit the CV in order to discuss and agree terms of business.

What we require of recruitment agencies:

  • We expect our recruitment agents to be knowledgeable about the firm and find out a bit about us and what makes us different from other law firms (see our website or call to contact us about the history of a role)
  • We would like you to speak to your candidates before submitting any CV’s and:
  1. brief candidates on our interview and assessment process
  2. help us by negotiating the final deal quickly
  3. ensure there are no surprises (we are recruiting for specific vacancies with specific needs for the firm)

Any CV’s received by Brethertons where Terms of Business for that specific vacancy have not already been agreed, will be considered as a gift.
