I joined Brethertons in 2018 as a Paralegal in the Wills, Trusts and Probate team. During those two years I gained experience in all of these areas. I particularly enjoy supporting our clients through what can be an emotional and difficult time.
In October 2020, I was delighted to accept a Training Contract with the firm and as such I am now a Trainee Solicitor, currently based in the Wills, Trusts and Probate team. I am due to qualify as a solicitor in April 2022.
I completed my law degree (LLB Hons) at the University of Warwick in 2018 and graduated with an upper second-class degree. I then enrolled on to the Legal Practise Course at Demontfort University, which I studied part-time whilst working full time at Brethertons LLP. I graduated from the Legal Practise Course in the summer of 2020 with a Commendation.
My work involves assisting fee earners with the drafting of wills, estate administration, completion of inheritance tax forms (both simple and complex) and drafting Lasting Powers of Attorneys. I also assist fee earners with the more specialist Court of Protection and Deputyship work.
Outside of work, I enjoy cooking and spending time with my family.
