Katie Nightingale

As a Legal Assistant, I work with Family Lawyers specialising in children disputes which often involve an element of domestic abuse.

On a day-to-day basis, I support new clients with their enquiries and help them access legal representation that suits them and their specific needs. One of my main roles is to assist clients with applying for Legal Aid and supporting them throughout the process.

I joined Brethertons in 2020 as an Apprentice and gained my Level 3 Business Administrator qualification. Since then, my role has developed substantially, and I now act as a point of contact between the team and other professionals such as courts, barristers’ chambers, and domestic abuse organisations.
