    Helen O'Shaughnessy


    As an Associate in the Property Management Team, it is my job to liaise with landlord customers and their managing agents to collect outstanding service charge, ground rent, insurance and Combined Heating and Power (CHP) charges from evasive leaseholders or freeholders.

    I have a law degree from Kingston University and started my working life in an estate agency, specialising in residential property management. This gives me a better understanding, not just of what my customers’ issues are, but also the leaseholders and debtors themselves. I joined Brethertons as a Property Manager and was made an Associate in 2013.

    Since joining Brethertons my focus is more on managing the team around me to collect the arrears more quickly and efficiently, and to this end I have completed my NVQ Level 2 in Team Leadership and my NVQ Level 3 in Management. I am immensely proud of being one of the few non lawyer associates within Brethertons and I work hard to maintain a level of customer service that deserves this station.

    When I’m not working hard to recover debts for my customers, I love music and to play my piano, clarinet and guitar. In my spare time you can either find me reading a book, shopping or going to concerts with my friends.
