Emily Price

Trainee Solicitor

I am currently a Trainee Solicitor in the Property Litigation Team, where I assist with a broad range of matters including residential leasehold disputes, high value service charge and ground rent arrears recovery and enforcement.

A key part of my role involves supporting the Partners within the team with the day-to-day management and progression of litigated matters, including preparing cases for court hearings, drafting legal documents and corresponding with both our clients and legal professionals.

A particular focus of my current work revolves around the settlement of cases following a County Court Judgment, which can range from preparing for mediation and ADR through to issuing proceedings for enforcement action via, for example, applications for Orders for Sale.

Prior to starting my role at Brethertons, I graduated from Nottingham Trent University with an undergraduate LLB (Hons) in 2023, before progressing to complete my Legal Practice Course (LPC) combined with a Masters of Law (LLM). Alongside my studies, In May 2024, I started working at Brethertons as a Legal Assistant. In July 2024, I progressed to a Paralegal and soon after was given the opportunity to begin my training contract within the firm in April 2025. I look forward to continuing to develop my expertise during my training period within the Property Litigation Team.
