Vashti Seth is a mother, microfinance campaigner, social enterprise ambassador for Bristol, nominee for Red Magazines women of the year, and founder of the UK’s first peer-to-peer microlending charity, Deki.
Vashti spoke at the July meeting about how and why she founded Deki and explained how these small yet life changing loans can impact entire communities in the developing world.
The charity pot raised £60 which has been put towards two £30 loans given to Alice and Sam to get their businesses underway.
