Rugby Does Breakfast

Rugby Art Gallery and Museum is the cultural hub for Rugby Borough providing unique arts and heritage experiences for all our visitors.

First opened in 2000 the art gallery and museum is a free admission venue hosting a variety of exhibitions, events and activities for all sections of the community. The art gallery has a changing programme of contemporary and modern art, including yearly exhibitions of Rugby Borough’s significant art collection ‘The Rugby Collection’. The museum documents the local Roman settlement of Tripontium and presents displays of objects relating to the history of Rugby Borough. We also run an extensive education and events programme which includes summer and half term activities and involvement with national events such as Night at the Museum and The Big Draw.

Join us at the October breakfast club to hear more about our work and have a private viewing of our special Rugby World Cup 2015 celebratory exhibitions. These include: ‘The Gain Line’ a new film work by artist Ravi Deepres investigating the history and culture of Rugby Football, co-commissioned with Film and Video Umbrella (a film production company based in London) and the ‘Rugby Football Open’ a selection of 21 works by 19 artists based in or near Rugby Borough inspired by the theme of Rugby Football.
