New Office For Legal Eagles

On the 10th December 2020, Brethertons new offices officially opened on 19 South Bar Street, Banbury were by Banbury Town Mayor, John Colgrave and Brethertons’ CEO, Alison McCormack.

The office at 19 South Bar is, for Brethertons, a temporary office until such time as what is described as their new “forever home” is available later in 2021.

CEO Alison McCormack told us, “to say that this temporary office project has been something of a whirlwind would be an understatement. We first viewed the space available on Monday 5 October, and since that time building works, internal partitioning, installation of IT and branding have all had to be ordered and delivered, and up and running within a period of seven weeks. It has been a great team effort by all concerned. We are looking forward to welcoming our clients to South Bar until our new home is ready to occupy which will be  much more modern, functional and practical for a law firm in the 21st Century ”.

The design and branding which appear in the windows of the building were put together by Hannah Powel, a Graphic Designer based in Banbury. Hannah told us, “working with Brethertons on this project has been extremely satisfying. Part of the firm’s brief was to feature “The knowledge Within,” and I wanted this to feature in the branding and design and highlight  some of the lawyers who work for the firm and provide the services to their clients”.

The graphics and signage used at the premises was manufactured by Banbury based Edge Signs. Owner Tim Edge confirmed, “working on this project with Brethertons was quite straightforward. The firm had a clear idea of what they were trying to achieve, and this made the manufacturing and installation of the project relatively straightforward”.

Banbury Town Mayor, John Colgrave said, “I am delighted to have been asked to open Brethertons’ new offices, albeit the ones they will temporarily occupy for the next 9-12 months or so. Brethertons have been providing legal services in the town for nearly 30 years, and I understand they are expecting to do for at least the next 50! Brethertons is a well known and respected legal firm in Banbury. It employs and utilises the skills of many local businesses, as well as serving the personal and professional legal needs of the community. In times of such global and economic uncertainty, it’s reassuring that some of our local businesses, like Brethertons, are not only investing long term in this historic town but are continuing to grow and thrive here.”
