International Women's Day (IWD) on 8th March 2019 celebrates the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women and also continues to campaign for gender parity. In 2016, Lexis Nexis blogged about women in the legal profession stating ‘Just one in five partners in top-20 firms is a woman, and just eight hold senior management roles in the top 50 firms’*.
As stated on the International Womens Day website, ‘Balance is not a women’s issue, it’s a business issue’.
