Local Businesses compete to be the Pride of Rugby

  • Posted

As winners of the 2015 Pride of Rugby award for Business of the Year, we are now sponsors of this year’s award for the same category.

The awards celebrate achievement in business and the community and attract entrants from all over the region. The categories were judged earlier this month and the shortlisted organisations announced for Business of the Year are Bilton Veterinary Centre, Café Vin Cinq, Coombe Abbey Hotel, and Rugby Fitted Kitchens.

Linda Jones, Partner and Head of Family Law at the Rugby office, is a member of the judging panel and commented “It’s a privilege to be assessing this group of amazing businesses. The standard has been exceptionally high, causing great debate amongst the judges and demonstrating that Rugby breeds outstanding talent and success. The four finalists are worthy representatives of the region and we look forward to announcing the winner at the ceremony.”

As a business founded in Rugby, we are a proud member of the business community. Judging panel member, Partner and Head of Employment Law, David Hodge said “Though we now have additional offices in Banbury and Bicester, Brethertons’ history is firmly rooted in Rugby. We grew up here and have been lucky enough to have the support of many organisations in the region. We’re delighted to be sponsoring the 2016 Business of the Year Award as part of our activities in the community.”

The winners of the Pride of Rugby Awards will be announced at a glittering awards ceremony at Coombe Abbey Hotel on Friday 6th May 2016.
