Partner and Head of Family Law, Rugby
I graduated from the University of Gloucestershire with a First Class LLB (Hons) Law Degree in 2013 and began my career in residential property from this point. Alongside working full time I completed my Graduate Diploma in Conveyancing and Probate with the CILEX Law School in 2015-2016. I then became a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Legal Executives (FCILEx) in 2017.
I have considerable knowledge and many years experience in dealing with both freehold and leasehold residential sales and purchases, re-mortgages and transfers of equity, along with both bridging and development finance matters.
Due to my work in the bridging and development finance sector, as well as advising quickly and efficiently on standard bridging matters, I quickly gained a vast amount of experience in respect of development sites. This involved advising clients on their lender’s requirements in addition to the property law aspects of anything from a self-build development, large residential development to mixed-use developments.
When I am not working I can usually be found walking my two rescue dogs or on the yoga mat. I also love to travel both at home and abroad and recent destinations abroad have included Prague, Rome, New York and Reykjavík in Iceland.
