Partner and Head of Family Law, Rugby
I am a Chartered Legal Executive within the Dispute Resolution Department. I deal predominantly with general property and commercial litigation progressing in the Fast Track, Multi-Track and First-tier Property Tribunals. On a day-to-day basis I provide customers with advice and obtain instructions on on-going matters. I also correspond with the Courts and Tribunal Service and opposition, draft pleadings and documents for filing and service, attend on mediations and attend Court with Counsel and customers as required.
I have worked in litigation since 2007 and joined Brethertons in 2012. I hold a law degree (LLB (Hons)) from Nottingham Law School obtained on their distance learning programme and completed the Legal Practice Course (LPC) at the University of Law Birmingham through their part-time programme in January 2013. Upon completion of my studies I became a member of the Institute of Chartered Legal Executives and completed my training at Brethertons before being admitted as a Fellow of CILEx in February 2017.
Outside work I enjoy going to the gym, swimming and spending time with family and friends.
