We care passionately about every customer we help

How we work
Historically, our team dealt solely with spinal injury claims, we did nothing else. However, we have recently started to take other types of catastrophic injury cases, after being approached by customers with different injuries, who were looking for experienced solicitors.
It is all about teamwork. We understand that it’s better to work with you as early as possible after your injury, so if you wish, we would visit you whilst you are an inpatient in hospital to talk to you about your options. We have very close relationships with many of the spinal injuries centres around the UK and we work directly with medical and support staff in those centres.
We are very much part of the wider team of doctors and other health professionals who will be a constant for the rest of your life. We coordinate a team of experts who help assess your lifelong needs to enable us to value your compensation claim. Our job is to identify what support you will need as a result of your injury in every facet of your life and to secure the right amount of compensation to enable you to access that support – forever.
If the other party in your claim admits fault, we can look to secure ‘interim’ payments which can help to fund your mobility needs, accommodation and adaption needs, care support, physiotherapy needs and financial needs. We can introduce you to a Case Manager who is able to help identify the precise needs you have on returning home and thereafter coordinate the help you need from different people.
Take a look at this video of Ify, one of our clients, talking about the amendments to his home and the support he had from a range of professionals we introduced him to.
Within Brethertons we work as a team. We deal with a relatively small number of claims each year and so the whole team will get to know you personally. Where necessary we call on colleagues in other teams who assist with aspects such as placing compensation in protective trusts to preserve entitlement to benefits, or purchasing land or property in order to meet accommodation needs.
We travel all over the UK to meet with our customers and their families and we are passionate about helping them get their lives back on track. We won’t let you down.
Remember it is absolutely up to you which solicitor you instruct to help with your compensation claim. For a free initial consultation with one of our specialist spinal injuries team contact us by calling freephone 08000 326623 or by emailing us at email@example.com
