The Shape of Things to Come

Speakers: Roger Hardwick, Justin Bates (Arden Chambers)

You may be aware that the Law Commission is currently reviewing the law concerning the ownership of leasehold land and is proposing reforms in the very near future which are likely to be as significant as the Law of Property Act 1925. These reforms are likely to impact your business model and strategy to an otherwise unprecedented degree.

On the 11th October 2018 we will be holding an informative webinar to which Managing Agents within the residential property sector will be invited to hear Brethertons Roger Hardwick, Partner and specialist residential leasehold property Solicitor discuss the implications of the proposals and the impact these will have.
Roger will explain the current proposals of the Commission and possible responses to the consultation and will be pleased to answer questions from those in attendance. Roger will be joined by Justin Bates, a Barrister practicing all aspects of housing, property and local government law. Justin is particularly familiar with the work of the Leasehold Valuation Tribunal/ First-tier Tribunal (Property Chamber) and has appeared in a number of reported Lands Tribunal/ Upper Tribunal (Lands Chamber) and Court of Appeal cases concerning leasehold disputes and Right to Manage cases.

We are delighted to offer access to this exclusive webinar free of charge to any existing customer of Brethertons LLP.
