Welcome to PWOW
PWOW (Property Women Oxon & Warks) is a women’s networking group which has been created to enable like-minded women who are involved in the property industry to meet and share both experiences and expertise within an informal networking environment.
PWOW objectives
- To enable members and guests to meet in a suitably relaxed atmosphere
- To exchange views, ideas, thoughts, information, proposals, counter proposals and business orientated ideas
- To provide business networking support and updates regarding the property sector affecting the Oxfordshire and Warwickshire
- To provide an appropriate opportunity to promote members’ organisations, products or services within a reciprocal networking environment.
Venue and Timings
We plan to meet at a variety of locations in and around Oxfordshire and Warwickshire. The timing of the events will vary- depending on the nature of the meeting.
If appropriate at the venue we will have a table where members and guests can display promotional material on the “propaganda" table. Full details of our next meeting will be released in due course.
Membership
Membership of PWOW is very difficult to obtain! Any guest that comes along to PWOW undergoes the same rigorous membership application. Essentially, all you have to do is hand in a business card or send us an email and agree to be added to the e mail database and if there is a charge for attending the event pay to attend! That’s pretty much it. Some events will be free or sponsored by member organisations.
PWOW has no attendance requirement. If you attend every meeting, or only once a year, it is fine. There is no requirement to compel you to do business with other members of the group (although an awful lot of networking does go on, which is one of the objects of the exercise). Please feel free to invite any colleagues or contacts to attend.
Rules
The only rule of PWOW is that Brethertons are the only solicitors that attend the meetings . We unashamedly say this as we have devised and organised the group and we pay for the administration at our cost. If a member would like another lawyer to attend, please let us know. We quite like lots of in house lawyers!
