    Chartered Legal Executive

I’ve worked in Conveyancing since 1999 and qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in 2011.

My main role in the team is to check legal titles, draft and check contracts and transfer deeds, check and advise on mortgage documentation and perform property searches.  I also advise on and prepare Declarations of Trust which may be required for property transactions where one party wishes to protect their interest or share in the property. I’m also on hand to help my colleagues in the Rugby Conveyancing Team with legal enquiries and any matters of a complex nature which arise on a day to day basis.

I really enjoy the varied nature of the work and in our faced-paced environment I regularly work on freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, transfer of equity, re-mortgages,  new build properties, shared ownership,  Help to Buy Schemes,  equity release schemes,  adverse possession claims and sale of parts.

I am the Branch Chairman of Coventry & Warwickshire Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx) Branch having launched the Branch in 2010. Alongside the rest of the Branch committee I organise training events, networking events and hold a Christmas function annually for our branch members.

I am married with 2 children.  I am an avid book collector of first edition horror books. My favourite author is Stephen King and over the years I have collected every book written by him.  I have also recently obtained a signed first edition of the late James Herbert’s last published book. In my spare time I like to read and dine out.
