We care passionately about every customer we help
Partner and Head of Family Law, Rugby
I am a solicitor in the Defended Litigation department based in our Banbury office. I manage a varied litigation caseload with a broad range of civil and commercial matters but with an emphasis on property litigation, leasehold disputes and contentious probate matters. I act for a wide range of customers including companies, individuals, landlord and managing agents.
I have particular expertise in actions relating to the validity of Wills based on allegations of undue influence, lack of due execution, fraud or lack of mental capacity and claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975 where a beneficiary believes they have received inadequate provision under a Will or intestacy.
In addition to my litigation practice, I am a Notary Public, having taken a Postgraduate Diploma at Cambridge University to qualify. With this hat on, I prepare and certify documents for use overseas and arrange for subsequent legalisation of the documents. Transactions involving international business, the sale and purchase of overseas property, administration of estates with assets overseas are likely at some stage to require the involvement of a Notary.
When I’m away from the office, I love to travel and enjoy all sorts of cultural activities such as theatre, art and literature. I’m also really interested in architecture and history and am keen on trekking/mountain walking.
