Talented Young Musicians to Play in Bicester

Music lovers are in for a treat at the Bicester Proms on 9th July, which is being sponsored by local businesses including ourselves.

The event is being put on by the Council and held at the historic Bicester Heritage site in celebration of the Queen’s 90th birthday. Proms-goers will enjoy music from the Oxfordshire County Youth Orchestra, a 90-piece orchestra that brings together the cream of the county’s talented young musicians.

“We’re delighted to be supporting this wonderful celebration of music and majesty,” said Steve Neasham, Partner and Head of Conveyancing at our Bicester office. “We’ve been working closely with Cherwell District Council during our move to the brand new Franklins House in Bicester, where we are both now based, so we feel a special connection with their summer of celebrations. The venue of Bicester Heritage combined with the rousing sound of a full orchestra will make for a magical evening which we’re very much looking forward to.”

Tickets for the event are £10/adult, £5/child (U5’s free) and are available from Council offices in Garth Park, Coles Bookstore and the new library in Franklin’s House or online at http://www.bicester.gov.uk/event/.
