Brethertons recognised as 'Leaders in their Field'

  • Posted

Brethertons LLP has (further) enhanced its credentials as a leading UK Legal Services firm, with 13 senior experts being recognised as ‘Leaders in their Field’ according to the independent legal ‘bible’ Chambers and Partners UK 2015 – the UK’s leading legal research directory.

The Chambers Guide is widely regarded as the most authoritative guide to the legal profession in the UK. It is compiled following detailed research over a six month period, including thousands of telephone and face-to-face meetings with clients, professional contacts and other law firms.  It ranks law firms and lawyers within 70 legal specialist areas and the rankings are based on technical legal ability, client service, commercial astuteness, diligence, commitment and many of the other qualities that are most valued by clients.

Among those recognised, the following have been singled out as leaders in their field in the Coventry and surrounds area: Andrew Watts for his work in Commercial Property, David Hodge for his specialist expertise in Employment, Linda Jones for her expert family work, Mary Anderson for her in-depth experience in commercial property and commercial secured lending and Rachel Adams as one to watch out for in the Family legal arena.

In the Oxford and surrounds area, the following have been entitled as leaders in their field: Jonathan Rees for his specialist work in spinal injuries/personal injury; Roger Hardwick for his specialist knowledge in the niche area of Enfranchisement, Shaun Jardine for his in-depth experience in mediation and  litigation, Sioban Calcott for her litigation work, Tom Lawrence for his work in Commercial Property and Simon Craddock for his expertise in the specialist legal area of Child Abduction.

Richard Pell Senior Partner at Brethertons explains: “These latest rankings are a tribute to the outstanding commitment our lawyers have shown to their specialist areas over the last year and recognition of the significant investment we have made in many areas of the business.  To be recognised as a leading force in the highly competitive market in which we operate is a great achievement – especially by Chambers and Partners UK, the publication has a strong reputation and is known to be one of the best independent assessments of the legal sector.”

The Chambers and Partners UK Guide 2015 will be published in October of this year.

Within the last two months alone, Brethertons has been acknowledged across several  legal, and non-legal, service awards, including:

  • Credit Today Awards – Litigation team of the Year Finalist
