Felicity Wyatt, Solicitor
 
Felicity specialises in Agriculture and Rural Business law.  She acts for agricultural clients in sales, purchases, remortgages and inter-family transfers of land, as well as on rights of way and some boundary issues.  She is an experienced Agricultural Solicitor with a Masters in Agriculture Law, who advises in relation to agricultural quotas and subsidies, has a detailed knowledge of the Single Payment Scheme entitlements system, and advises clients considering entering the Entry Level and Higher Level Environmental Stewardship schemes, as well as those transferring land within these schemes, or acting for those acquiring land within these schemes.

Wills Trusts Probate Law Sharon Eyre 

Sharon Eyre, Solicitor

Sharon has a wide range experience within the sphere of the Wills, Trust and Probate Department, including drafting Wills, administering testate and intestate estates, taxable and non-taxable estates. This means she was very well placed to be tasked with the development of the team and the firm’s Contentious Probate offering. 

Sharon has also had considerable grounding in advising on the completion of Powers of Attorney, formerly Enduring and most recently Lasting and all the challenges that the change of legislation in this area has brought about. Wills Trust Probate Solicitor - Rahul Kotecha 

Rahul Kotecha

Rahul is a Solicitor within Brethertons and advises on many aspects of Private Client work including; Will drafting, estate administration, Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection work and Protective Trusts. In addition Rahul can advise clients on a specialist area of Wills that deal with Shariah compliance. Shariah compliant Wills, also known as Islamic Wills, are drafted in line with the Quran.

A particular interest of Rahul’s is assisting clients, and their families, who cannot look after their own affairs due to lack of mental capacity. This is involves advising on applications to the Office of the Public Guardian and Court of Protection for Deputyship and other financial orders.

Rahul enjoys the variety of work that Private Client Law offers and the challenges the work can bring.
