Aiden Codd, Trainee Solicitor

Aiden has just started his seat in Wills, Trust and Probate and is looking forward to expanding his knowledge of this area.  

Aiden has previously  worked in the family department and primarily assisted Terri Harman in the field of public law and  private law children work.  However Aiden also undertook injunction work and helped clients who have been the subject of domestic abuse. Gemma Kelsey, Trainee Solicitor

Gemma undertakes all types of family work including issues concerning children and domestic violence.  She also assists with International Child Abduction and Public Law matters.

Family law involves a lot of client interaction and due to the nature of the work matters are often ongoing which provides the opportunity to get to know clients and build up good client relationships.

Trainee Solicitor Hannah Wailoo

Hannah Wailoo, Trainee Solicitor

As a trainee Hannah has completed seats in the family, commercial property and private client department. Her work has ranged from assistant work to partners and fee earners to being given a high level of responsibility for her own client matters. 

Hannah has assisted with and acted for private clients – from high net worth to some of the most vulnerable – and commercial clients helping them throughout the process of buying, selling and leasing commercial properties.

As a trainee the work is always challenging, which means Hannah is learning something new everyday. Hannah is also gaining a broad range of experience in different areas of practice and dealing with clients with a variety of demands and needs. To find out more about Hannah click here.

Hemesh Chohan, Trainee Solicitor

Having graduated from Leicester University, Hemesh did his Legal Practice course at the College of Law in Birmingham. In July 2006, he joined Shoosmiths as a Paralegal before joining the Brethertons Commercial Property team as a Trainee Solicitor in April 2008.

Laura Bennett, Trainee Solicitor

Laura has just started her training contracting, with her first seat being in the Litigation Department.
