Elizabeth is Head of the Wills, Trust and Probate Department. She qualified as a Solicitor in 1996 and since then she has practiced in a broad range of areas within the private client field. Elizabeth has considerable experience in advising all sorts of people on all sorts of Wills, the emphasis always being on making sure she meets the particular needs of the individuals. The core of Elizabeth's work, until fairly recently has been dealing with complex/high value probate administrations often involving agricultural and commercial estates.Elizabeth is a member of Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE) and she has been appointed by the Court of Protection as a panel deputy and has many years of experience of managing the legal and financial affairs of individuals who are, as a result of illness or accident prevented from managing their own affairs.Since taking responsibility in 2005 for leading her team, Elizabeth's role is changing from that of legal adviser to manager. She has seen the team grow in number and experience and has introduced many new systems and procedures which benefit our clients.
Elizabeth and her team have worked hard to develop our client care services, to ensure that what we offer is quality valued legal services for individuals. When work life balance permits, Elizabeth spends her time walking up the highest mountains she can find (a bit tricky in Rugby!). She also enjoys treading the boards at her local amateur theatre, where she hopes to be back on stage soon.Tel: (01788) 559 501Email: elizabethyoung@brethertons.co.uk
