Elizabeth Young, Partner

Elizabeth is Head of the Wills, Trust and Probate Department. She qualified as a Solicitor in 1996 and since then she has practiced in a broad range of areas within the private client field.

Alison Bristow, Solicitor

Alison advises clients on all aspects of will drafting, administration of estates, elderly client work, trust law and charity formation and registration.

More specifically, Alison advises clients in relation to inheritance tax, agricultural property and business property relief, Office of the Public Guardian applications, trust creation, trust administration and advice for trustees. Nadiya Virani-Bland, Solicitor

Nadiya acts for different levels of clients, dealing with Probates and Elderly Client work, spending a large amount of time client facing.

Sarah Butt, Solicitor

Sarah deals with all aspects of Wills and probate with a particular interest in tax & estate planning for high net worth individuals and business clients.

Sharon Eyre, Solicitor

Sharon deals with a wide range of services within the Wills, Trust and Probate Department, including drafting Wills, administering testate and intestate estates, dealing with inheritance Tax and completing full estate accounts.

Anji Arkell, Probate Manager

Anji acts for a wide range of people from all age groups with varying financial backgrounds.  She specialises in dealing with and advising on all matters relating to the administration of estates, whether there is a Will or not, to include complex and insolvent estates.

Carly McPhillips, Client Liasion Officer

As client Liaison Officer, Carly's role is to ensure that all our clients receive the highest standard of service and client care possible. Carly is the first point of contact for the Wills, Trust and Probate team in Rugby, handling initial enquiries, arranging appointments, dealing with queries and assisting the Solicitors. Emma Blackman, Trust Administrator 

Emma is the Wills, Trust and Probate Trust Administrator and secretarial support to the department in Banbury.

Emma looks after the day to day running of the trust files, preparing annual tax returns where applicable and drafting annual accounts for the trusts. She is also involved with Trustees  meetings  and making plans for the trusts.

As the client’s first point of contact for the department in Banbury, Emma handles new enquiries  and  arranges appointments; outlining our likely costs and timescales and,  in some cases,  taking  basic instructions to save time at the client’s first appointment.
