STEP 4  Final Hearing

If your case is not resolved at Step 3 then a final hearing will be necessary. 

What is included in Step 4 service?

At a final hearing a Judge will decide the outcome of your case.  We will take all necessary steps to prepare your case for a final hearing, which involves:-

  • Updating disclosure and information
  • Preparing witness statements on behalf of any witnesses who are required to attend the final hearing
  • Advising you tactically on the preparation of your case
  • Preparation of Hearing Bundles
  • Selecting and briefing  a barrister to represent you
  • Attendance at the final hearing.

How do I order and pay for the Step 4 service?

The fixed price for Step 4 is £2,950 plus VAT but does not include Court fees or any other professional fees that may need to be incurred, such as valuation of property, a valuation of pensions, Barristers fees or Court fees.  It does not include any extra court applications that may need to be made during the process.

Payment must be made in full at the start of Step 4. 

Through Lloyds TSB Bank we are also able to help put you in touch with a bank representative that could arrange a personal loan for you to pay for the divorce, which you can pay back out of any financial settlement that you receive when these proceedings are concluded. Many clients use this facility to help them with the payments.
