Torquil is a Senior Litigation Executive and is a Fellow of The Institute of Legal Executives.. He specialises in Civil Litigation which is a broad field and covers such areas as personal injury, contractual issues, debt collection, insolvency, property and boundary disputes.
Acting for both commercial and private clients, Torquil's job is to sort out problems or disputes which client’s may have. For example in a personal injury claim he would try and secure damages for an injured client or in a property dispute he may be trying to obtain possession of a property for a landlord whose tenant is not payment rent.
Torquil enjoys contact with client’s and sorting out their legal problems particularly if the result is favourable.
In his spare time, Torquil enjoys most racquet sports such as tennis, squash and badminton and until fairly recently, he also played competitive Rugby. He as done four triathlons and one duathlon and likes to keep reasonably fit by walking and especially fell walking when time allows.
