Sioban Calcott, Head of Banbury Litigation (FILEX)

Sioban heads up the Banbury Litigation department. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives and member of the Property Litigation Association (PLA). She undertakes a wide range of areas of litigation, including recovery of possession of properties, boundary disputes, commercial contract disputes, restoration of companies, residential property litigation, LVT proceedings, personal injury overseas and dept recovery.

Sioban is ranked as a leader in her field by the Chambers and Partners 2009 Directory.

Edward Bible, Solicitor and Licensed Insolvency Practitioner

Edward Bible is both a solicitor and licensed insolvency practitioner.  He has a wide knowledge of all areas of insolvency.  Edward advises insolvency practitioners, banks and other clients on both contentious and non-contentious matters.  Edward has been rated in Chambers & Partners’ guide to the legal profession as “bright and practical”. Ignacio Morillas-Paredes, Solicitor

Ignacio Morillas-Paredes is a dual qualified Spanish Lawyer and English Solicitor within the Litigation team.  Ignacio’s niche specialist area of practice focuses on cases relating Spanish property development disputes and Travel and Tourist Litigation/Cross Border Litigation cases. Ignacio also acts as an Expert Witness in his capacity as a Spanish lawyer (Abogado) . Ignacio is currently working on a potential ‘Class Action’ representing over 40 people who have lost money after investing in Ocean View Properties. As well as Spanish and English, Ignacio has working knowledge of Italian and Portuguese.

Paramjeet Kaur, Solicitor

Sundeep Sandhu, Trainee Solicitor

Sundeep graduated from Birmingham University and subsequently undertook her Legal Practice Course at the College of Law, Birmingham. Sundeep initially joined  Brethertons in November 2007 as a Paralegal before commencing her Training Contract with her first seat being in the Civil Litigation Department.

Sundeep is currently assisting the established Litigation team members. She deals mainly with personal injury matters, whilst also advising clients and carrying out research on other litigation matters, such as contractual disputes, bankruptcy proceedings, property possession and debt matters. Amy Bell, Solicitor

Amy is a Solicitor within the Litigation department having completed her training at Brethertons.  Amy deals with a wide range of litigation areas, but in particular deals with commercial contract disputes, partnership disputes, restoration of companies, personal injury (both overseas and in the UK) and residential property disputes, including proceedings in the Leasehold Valuation Tribunal.
