We invite you to a drinks evening to share some of our experiences of legal agricultural horror stories. The event will be chaired by Felicity Wyatt, who heads our Banbury Agriculture team.
Typical Horror stories include:

Meet the team:
Felicity Wyatt specialises in Agricultural and Rural Business Law. She acts for clients in sales, purchases, remortgages and inter-family transfers of land, as well as on rights of way and some boundary issues. She is an experienced Agricultural Solicitor with a Masters in Agricultural Law, who advises in relation to agricultural quotas and subsidies, has a detailed knowledge of the Single Payment Scheme entitlements system and Higher Level Environmental Stewardship schemes.
Kate Austin who joined Brethertons in 2002 is a fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives and is a key member of the Agricultural and Rural team. Kate has 20 years of property law experience and advises on agricultural and residential property transactions including sales, purchases, remortgages and deeds of easement.
Elizabeth Young is a Partner and Head of the Wills, Trust and Probate Department and practises in a broad range of areas within the private client field.
Elizabeth has helped many farming families in succession and probate issues, tackling complex farm administrations on death, she also relishes the challenge of helping farming business clients put together clever Wills and helps wherever possible to assist clients in reducing potential tax burdens.
David Hodge is an employment solicitor within Brethertons Employment Law team. An experienced employment litigator with an enviable record of success in employment tribunal matters, David is also experienced in agricultural employment matters.
