Brethertons Raises £7,000 for Will Aid

Brethertons solicitors in Rugby and Banbury have broken all their own records during a very busy Will Aid Campaign during November.
 
The solicitors in Elizabeth Young's Private Client Team have thrown themselves into this fund raising campaign, generously donating their legal services for free to clients making Wills and have raised a staggering £7,300 which will be divided between the Will Aid charities. This takes the total raised over the years since Will Aid started of more than £16k.
 
Elizabeth explains: “We have been stunned at the level of interest generated, and have met with around 130 clients who have wanted to be involved with this years scheme. It has taken all our resources to process the enquiries during November, clients saw it as a way of achieving something that had been on their 'to do' list for ages. It has been interesting to see the number of couples with complex family situations who have come along tot talk to us. Thankfully they now have tailor made wills that can specifically deal with some of the more testing questions they have asked. I still find it staggering that in the UK every year thousands of people die without leaving a Will!''
