Community
With roots that trace back nearly 200 years, Brethertons has become an integral part of the communities and surrounding areas in which we operate.
It's all in the taking part...
Brethertons is committed to contributing to our communities, by being active participants in the places where we live, work and play. This year we supported Comic Relief, with over 40 employees, family and friends participating in the Daventry mile and entered a Dragon Boat team in the Banbury Rotary Club’s fundraising event.
Supporting local schools
The firm is also a long-standing supporter of secondary schools in the area and for several years Brethertons has welcomed many young people to undertake work experience at the firm. This increases working with education in the community.
Supporting charities
The firm also has many, many charitable links and associations including the Education Business Partnership, Leonard Cheshire Disability, Katherine House Hospice, Dogs for the Disabled, the Bwengu Village in Malawi project, Macmillian Cancer Relief where collectively we have raised over £100,000 for these and other good causes.
We not only serve as a good regional employer and deliver our clients with an exceptional service, but we believe that we provide local businesses with a platform to meet and refer clients and contacts.
Sponsoring events
This is done on many levels, largely through our networking and sponsorship of events - the Banbury Business Breakfast Club (BBBC), the Oxford Networking Lunch Club (ONLC), and the Professionals Lunch Club (PLC), the Rugby Business Awards, and as a member of the Banbury Corporate Finance Initiative (BCFI).
All of the initiatives and activities undertaken by Brethertons reflect our firm’s strong commitment to our community and the investment in our people, clients and contacts.
