Shaun Jardine, Partner

Shaun is the Head of the Litigation Department based at the Banbury office. Shaun's property litigation practice involves representing clients before Leasehold Valuation Tribunals (LVTs) and courts in connection with service charge, disrepair and breach of covenant matters.

When he is not litigating for our clients Shaun  acts as  a Commercial Mediator as he is often called in by Solicitors and other professionals to try and assist their clients to reach a commercial solutions to problems and avoid going court. Shaun is the driving force behind the formation of our online mediation system  
www.propertymediationzone.co.uk  in which parties can resolve their disputes via the internet.

Shaun Jardine is recognised as ‘Leaders in their Field’ by Chambers UK as a ‘leader in Dispute Resolution: Mediators'.  Jardine takes his place in this year's table having earned praise for his ability to "provide commercial advice in an impartial manner." His mediation practice is predominantly focussed on property-related disputes, mirroring his practice as a solicitor.  He also regularly handles construction disputes.

Alison McCormack - Head of Department

Alison McCormack is the Head of  Operations in Property Management. Alison deals with the overall administration and day to day management of the department.

Sioban Calcott, Head of Litigation (FILEX)

Sioban has over twenty years experience. She undertakes a wide range of areas of litigation, including recovery of possession of properties, boundary disputes, commercial contract disputes, restoration of companies, residential property litigation, LVT proceedings, personal injury overseas and dept recovery.

Sioban Calcott is recognised as ‘Leaders in their Field’ by Chambers UK 2011 as a 'leader in Dispute Resolution'  "thorough and hard-working" Sioban Calcott earns praise for her "conscientious and sensible" approach to litigation.  She concentrates on commercial contract and property disputes.

Mark North, Business Development Manager

Mark has many years of debt recovery management experience within the Brethertons Property Management team. He is the first point of contact for many of our new and potential clients and his role is to provide easy access for our clients to our PMA (Property Management Alliance) service. Verity Frangiamore, Debt Recovery Manager

Craig Webb - Client Interface Manager

Craig is an experienced Debt Recovery Manager within the team.  He is responsible for the implementation and development of our internal caseflow management system which supports the team in their achievement of faster and more efficient file management processes.  He is a main point of contact for our clients who enjoy direct access to our system, enabling them to view up to the minute case notes 24 hours a day, 7 days per week.

Helen O'Shaughnessy - Debt Recovery Manager

Helen is a Property Manager who joined Brethertons in 2008 having previously worked for a Property Management Company. She undertakes the recovery of service charge and ground rent for a variety of clients.

Amy Bell, Solicitor

Amy is a Solicitor within the Litigation department having completed her training at Brethertons.  Amy deals with a wide range of litigation areas, but in particular deals with commercial contract disputes, partnership disputes, restoration of companies, personal injury (both overseas and in the UK) and residential property disputes, including proceedings in the Leasehold Valuation Tribunal.

Helen Fleming, Solicitor

Helen has over twenty years experience in property law and now specialises in residential property.

She advises on the sale and purchase of a wide range of freehold and leasehold residential property in all parts of the country.
