The Commonhold and Leasehold Reform Act 2002 (‘2002 Act’) affects the rights and responsibilities of Leaseholders in England and Wales.  The Act gained Royal Assent on 1st May 2002.  Part 2 of the Act makes key changes to the existing leasehold legislation in England and Wales.
