Directors Disqualification - Permission To Act

As strange as it may seem, notwithstanding the fact that a Disqualification Order may be made against an individual as a Director, it is possible to apply to the Court for permission to act as a Director of specific companies despite the fact that an Order has been made.

Section 17 of the Company Directors Disqualification Act provides that a person can act as Director with leave of the Court.
