Tom has gained experience in many different areas of commercial property work since joining Brethertons in 2002.In particular Tom provides legal advice and assistance to clients on leasehold sales / purchases, freehold sales / purchases, landlord and tenant matters and option agreements. Tom also works closely with the Corporate Lawyers at Brethertons to advise clients who are buying / selling businesses on the property aspects of their transaction. Tom enjoys getting to know his clients and their businesses and gets a great deal of satisfaction from helping them to achieve further success. Tom is a ‘people person’ and his job requires that he meets and speaks with dozens of different people each day. This mix of people and the knowledge that no two matters are ever the same ensures that life working in commercial property is never dull!Outside of work Tom's hobbies mainly revolve around sport in particular Football, Golf, Rugby and Cricket. If Tom is not playing then he will be watching. Tom's travels to watch live sport have included football in Spain, Italy and Ireland, golf in Scotland, lacrosse in Canada and women’s weightlifting in Manchester!
