Insure Against Employment Claims – Our Bespoke Product

We continually consult and listen to our clients and as a firm we are constantly striving to find innovative solutions to the problems that you face. We recognise that our expertise comes at a financial cost and whilst we firmly believe that when viewed within our marketplace we offer excellent value, we are always endeavouring to reduce cost for our clients.

That is why we have worked closely with The Perry Appleton Group  to launch a comprehensive Employment Liability Insurance product that provides indemnity for legal fees and employment tribunal awards  in the event of employment-related claims being made against your business (subject to policy terms and conditions).

Not only will you receive the protection of one of the leading commercial insurance products on the market, but because of the bespoke nature of the product that we have developed, you can be certain that if an employment tribunal claim is made against your business, Brethertons employment team will be appointed to defend you. Our fees are recovered from the insurance company (Chartis Insurance UK Limited – who underwrite the policy) at no cost to you (other than the premium paid and any relevant excess). We believe that this pioneering product allows you to better manage your risk and budget for your annual legal spend and is a must-have for all businesses with 5 employees or more.

Better than the rest!

Policies offered by other providers often restrict legal representation to a handful of specific law firms that have agreed cheap rates with that insurer and which are often located out of region. Consistency of advice and trust in your adviser is inevitably lost and those firms can’t possibly understand the daily workings of your business. What is more, in order to ensure profitability, most ‘panel’ firms employ junior staff to defend your claim.
