Brethertons employ new catastrophic and spinal injury specialist

We are delighted to announce the appointment of a new specialist solicitor within the firm’s Catastrophic and Spinal Injury team. Nicola Heales joins Brethertons from a national law firm and further strengthens the team, which currently consists of Richard Dawson and his daughter Sarah, the team’s legal assistant. Nicola joined the firm in mid-July.

Richard, a recognised leading spinal injuries specialist with over 30 year’s experience, has won over £120 million in compensation claims for his clients.  In joining the team, Nicola, a highly experienced personal injury solicitor, brings a further twenty years plus experience in catastrophic injury, including spinal and brain injury claims.

Nicola is a member of the Law Society’s Personal Injury Panel, the Spinal Injuries Association, the British Neuropsychiatry Association and the Medico-Legal Society.  She is also a Fellow of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) and a Regional Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine.
