200 Free Legal Hours Charity Giveaway

As you may have read in the local press, 2010 is Brethertons’ 200th Anniversary.  The practice was founded in 1810 and since then the firm has developed and grown considerably into one of the largest regional firms in the UK.  One thing has stayed the same throughout our 200 year history, and this has been Brethertons’ commitment to our local community and our care, support and respect of local charities and the work that they do.

As part of our 200th Anniversary Year celebrations, the Partners have decided to give away 200 hours of free legal advice to local charities, which equates to approximately £35,000. We can advise in the following areas of law:

  • Commercial Law
  • Employment
  • Commercial Property
  • Legacy Giving Campaigns
  • Litigation
  • Commercial Recoveries
  • Family Law
  • Wills Trust and Probate
  • Property Law
  • Agriculture and Rural
  • Conveyancing

If your charity wishes to participate and take advantage of a proportion of the 200 hours offer please write to Shaun Jardine at Strathmore House, Waterperry Court, Middleton Road, Banbury, Oxon, OX16 4QD on headed paper setting out what legal problem you require assistance with and we will see if we can help. Please write to us by 31st July.  All applications received from charities will then be placed before our Year 200 Committee to establish whether your request it is something we can help with. In the event that we receive more requests for our time than the 200 hours allocated we will conduct a draw.

There is no catch. Good luck.
